ACE Summer Program / ACCESS Campus Experience (May 29-31, 2024)

ACE Summer Program / ACCESS Campus Experience (May 29-31, 2024)

ACCESS' ACE Summer Program is a 3-day, 2-night summer camp for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. ACE allows prospective students to get a feel for what it is like here at ACCESS.

The ACCESS Campus Experience (ACE) is a wonderful experience in which campers can learn what life is like as an ACCESS student. Campers will take part in several activities ranging from light academic work to a friendly game of kickball if they choose to play. The campers will reside in one of the residence halls at Mississippi State University and will have a first hand dining experience along side college students, faculty, and staff in one of our campus dining facilities.

The ACCESS Summer Program is for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. This application must be sent with the following documents:

  • Most Recent IEP
  • Most Recent Psychological-Educational Evaluation
  • One Personal Letter of Recommendation
  • Recent Photo of Camp Applicant

There will be a non-refundable $50 application fee and a $250 camp fee upon acceptance to ACCESS'  ACE Summer Program that will be due before camp begins. If there is a need for reasonable accommodations, please send the accommodation request with the application packet.

The ACE Summer Camp application opens at the end of March 4, 2024 and will close April 15, 2024.

For questions or concerns regarding camp, please email us at access@msstate.edu.
