Chris Dallager serves as the Director of the Disability Resource Center and ACCESS since joining Mississippi State University in February 2021. In collaboration with the ACCESS team, Dallager oversees the long-term direction and planning for ACCESS, while also participating in the selection of incoming students and interventions with student concerns. Previously, he has served as Director of Disability Services at Carleton College in Northfield, MN, and as Coordinator at the Disability Resource Center at the University of Minnesota, Morris. With a background in counseling psychology and school psychology, Dallager worked for many years as a psychotherapist, school psychologist, and program director for group homes for adults with intellectual disabilities prior to working in higher education disability. He is a past fellow of the Yale Child Study Center and past president of the Minnesota Association on Higher Education and Disability.
